I am thrilled to be starting my 20th year teaching at Russell in first grade! RES is the best school in the universe. It is a pleasure to come to work every day. I love working with the entire Patriot family, especially my students!

  After completing my undergraduate degree in Early childhood Education from Mercer University, I earned my master's from Georgia College and State University. I also have a teacher support specialist and coach endorsement and gifted endorsement. I plan to continue my education in the future. I have experience teaching every grade in elementary school. I truly believe that students are not vessels to be filled but lamps to be lit. It is my goal to help students develop their maximum potential not only academically but as well-rounded citizens.
