Master Minds Academic Bowl Team

Membership Requirement: 4th and 5th grader GTE students referred by the GTE teacher, who are in good academic and conduct standing with their teachers in each classroom, and who regularly attend meetings.

Financial Obligations/Dues: $10.00

Mission/Purpose: The purpose of the Academic Quiz Bowl Team is to provide the opportunity for students to take what they learn in the classroom and compete against other schools in a fast paced academic quiz format.  Topics range from academic subjects to pop culture and general knowledge questions. 

Planned Activities: Weekly meetings after school from 3:45-4:45; the month of quiz bowl, students will practice twice weekly- only fifth grade students will compete, fourth grade students may attend the bowl.
