Welcome! My name is Jessica Miller, and I teach 2nd grade gifted and talented. I am a dedicated educator, wife, and mother. I have been teaching for 9 years at Russell Elementary. I have taught Pre-K, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, and 2nd Grade GTE. I have obtained a Bachelor's Degree with Dual Certification in Early Childhood/Special Education from Middle Georgia College. I have also obtained a Master's Degree as well as a Specialist Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southwestern University. I love being outdoors and spending time with family. One of my favorite hobbies is fishing! I also enjoy playing golf and softball. I am very passionate about my job and the students I am blessed to meet each year. I call my students my "kids" because every one I have ever taught (new or old) hold such special places in my heart. Despite the difficulties of the outside world, we all become family inside my classroom.
