After two rewarding years of teaching 5th grade in Bibb County and gaining valuable experience as a substitute teacher, I am thrilled to join the Russell Elementary team for what promises to be an amazing third year! The welcoming environment at Russell has already made me feel at home, and I’m eager to be a part of the Patriot family.

I am deeply passionate about cultivating a love for literature and writing among my students. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Fort Valley State University and my first Master’s degree from Full Sail University. Currently, I am pursuing a second Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. My goal is to weave creative and critical thinking skills into my lessons, fostering a supportive and dynamic classroom where every student feels valued and empowered to achieve their best.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy participating in my community dance team, traveling, and indulging in photography. I am excited to inspire the next generation of writers and readers here at Russell Elementary!
