I am proud to be a Russell Patriot! I went to Russell from Kindergarten through 5th grade. Then I worked Russell ASP through high school and college. I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Information Technology but found the business world to be unfulfilling. So, I went back to school and received a Master's in Early Childhood Education. While working to become a teacher, I was a paraprofessional for 4 years, which definitely gave me great real-life experience. I completed my Educational Specialist degree in Advanced Educational Studies which focused on curriculum and instruction in 2021. I am now in my 13th year as a teacher. Through the years I have taught pre-k, kindergarten, 1st, and now 3rd. I have two children. Samantha is in 11th grade at HCHS and Jacob is in 5th grade here at Russell. I also have a dog named Sunshine. My children are involved in a lot of sports, so much of our time is spent at some sort of ballfield. When not playing sports, we enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
