Hello, Russell Patriots! My name is Carolyn Torres-Tapley and I am a 5th grade teacher. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I began teaching in 2014 and I have taught grades 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. I love helping students find intrinsic value and a passion for learning through positive mindfulness, goal setting, and GRIT. I am married to my best friend, Daniel. Together we have 4 amazing children: Tori, Shylar, Elijah, and Noah. We also have a family dog named Tanner. I am looking forward to a wonderful year of engaged learning and growing together as Russell Elementary Patriots at the best school in the universe!
