I went to Perry Elementary, Perry Middle, Feagin Mill Middle, and graduated from Houston County High School in 2010. I attended college at Valdosta State University. I earned my bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education, and graduated in May 2014. I also graduated with my Master of Health and Physical Education online at Valdosta State University in December 2017.

This is my fifth year of teaching, and my fourth at Russell. I also have some years of experience coaching; 3 years of high school softball and 1 year of high school basketball. I currently coach softball at Houston County High.

I have lived in Perry since 1995. I followed my parents' footsteps and became an educator. I have three older siblings. In elementary school, I fell in love with Physical Education. I decided there I wanted to become a PE teacher. Growing up I was actively involved with sports. I played softball, basketball, golf, ran track, soccer, and swam. I played four years of softball at VSU, where I won four conference championships, three regional championships, and one national championship.

I love being active and teaching students the benefits of it! Go Patriots!
