Ms. Malone is a product of Houston County, graduating from Veterans High School. She then went to Armstrong Atlantic State University to pursue a degree in teaching. In 2015, she transferred to Kennesaw State University where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a reading endorsement. She started teaching kindergarten at Russell Elementary. Ms. Malone then earned her gifted certification and began teaching first grade. She then went on to receive her Master's Degree and Specialist Degree from Georgia Southwestern State University. This is her second year teaching 5th grade.
She loves finding new ways to engage her students, especially with technology. You will always find her with coffee in hand! In her free time, she enjoys playing with her dog, cooking, and spending time with family.
