Bio
I have 4 babies, who are no longer babies – Kaitlyn (21), Brandon (18), Selena (16), and Christian (14). I have two fur babies – Luke (Pyredoodle) and Bentley (Golden Retriever) – and one green daughter who is our class pet – Cami the chameleon. I am an avid sports fan and LOVE football more than most guys! As a Northside graduate, I love my Blue and Orange on Friday nights but yell “ROLL TIDE” on Saturdays! I have been teaching for 15 years and absolutely love my job! I received my Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University, my Masters Degree in Math and Science Education from Walden University and my Education Specialist Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. I say all of this to show that I believe learning is a lifelong process and find a new challenge each day! I am super excited about being a mom, teaching, and life, in general. Welcome to my class and 5th grade!
